Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-26
This Privacy Policy explains what information Zoo Clash ("the Game") collects, how it is used and what choices you have. The Game is developed and published by CodeHacks ("we", "us"). We built the Game to collect as little data as possible: only what is needed to sign you in and run online matches.
1. Who is responsible for your data
CodeHacks, an independent developer based in Mexico, is responsible for the data described in this policy. You can reach us at hi@codehacks.io for any privacy question or request.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information used to sign in
The Game uses a third-party sign-in service so you can log in with your existing account. When you sign in and accept the permission request, we receive the following information:
- Your account ID (a unique identifier for your account).
- Your display name.
We only request the "Basic Profile" permission. We do not request or store your password, email address, payment information, or friends list.
2.2 Information created when you play online
- Game service identifiers: our game servers use a product user ID to recognize you during a match.
- Match data: your in-match actions, kills, deaths and score. This data exists only while a match is running and is not stored after the match ends.
- Connection data: to connect you to a game server, the server receives your IP address. Our servers write short technical logs (for example your display name and the time you joined or left a match) to help us fix bugs and stop abuse.
2.3 Information stored only on your device
Your settings (volume, brightness, graphics options and similar) are saved on your own computer. They are never sent to us.
3. How we use your information
- To sign you in and show your display name to other players in a match.
- To connect you to game servers and run online matches.
- To find and fix technical problems, and to prevent cheating and abuse.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles about you, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
4. Sharing your information
- Other players in the same match can see your display name.
- Third-party service providers that power sign-in and online services may process certain technical information (such as device, operating system and network data) needed to operate those services. Each provider handles data under their own privacy policy.
- Hosting providers that run our game servers, only as needed to operate them.
- Authorities, if required by law.
5. How long we keep your information
- Match data: only for the duration of the match.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, then deleted.
- Settings: on your device until you delete them or uninstall the Game.
6. Your rights and choices
You can stop sharing your account information with the Game at any time by removing the Game from the connected apps in your account settings. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete any information we hold about you by writing to hi@codehacks.io. Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, California or Mexico), you may have additional rights under local law, and you may file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we handle, such as limiting who can access our servers. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country. By using the Game, your information may be processed in those countries, always under the protections described in this policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game changes. We will update the effective date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will tell players in the Game or on this website.
